The live action / animation hybrid will not return.
May 11, 2017
Fox has cancelled Son of Zorn after just one season. The comedy premiered as part of the network's fall lineup last September with a unique format for prime time, mixing live-action and comedy together. The series was a decent performer on Sunday nights but word is the show was difficult to produce, making it harder to justify a second season.
Son of Zorn followed an embattled warrior from a faraway island in the Pacific Ocean where everything and everybody is animated. He decides to travel to Orange County, California with hopes of winning back his live-action ex-wife and his teenage son.

to be able to mock humanity and human psychology with such whit, but still keeping a fun twist of frank sarcasm I think this show was a hit and am super sad its not being renewed. Lets hope Netflix ratings will boost it up to make them realize they have made a big mistake!

Does anyone remember that awful kids show from cartoon network called 'Out of Jimmy's head'? No? Yeah because it was a mess just like this trash hole. Will not be missed

I seriously feel like this show was a joke. It was just ridiculous. Thank goodness it was cancelled.

Loved this show - so disappointed it has been cancelled. It's a shame as it was actually different from the usual shows that are broadcast.

Well they had to have a way to mock men and it's all been done before so they went cartoon.

This show was HORRIBLE. I am sorry for the people who have to look for new work but this was just a dreadful program. And I DID give it a fair chance and really wanted to like it. It SUCKED!
