The popular franchise loses its latest entry.
May 22, 2017
Word is out this evening that Chicago Justice has been cancelled after its first season. The mid-season legal drama premiered in March as the fourth and most-recent entry in the hit Chicago franchise, but soft ratings on Sunday nights did not make a compelling case for a pickup.
The fourth entry in the franchise, Chicago Justice could have been a case of one too many shows under the same umbrella. Its viewership, while not terrible, was the lowest among its franchise-mates. The remaining three entries - Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and Chicago Med - were all recently renewed for 2017-2018 and will be returning for Season 6, Season 5, and Season 3 respectively.

Can't say I'm sorry to see this totally predictable pile of liberal nonsense get dropped, besides the title itself is an oxymoron. Just Stay with Chicago Fire & Chicago PD.

What a shame. I enjoyed this addition to the franchise. I agree Sun. evening could be a tough slot; maybe they should have tried moving it to a different day before lowering the boom.

Omg. If they came up with another Chicago show , I was gonna shot myself. They should have came up with Chicago Southside. Where the actors get robbed and shot at on a daily basis. How about Chicago who gives a ****. Chicago Gangsters. Where they just put up hidden cameras on the southside and watch kids killing kids and gangsters keeping it real.

I love Chicago Med and Fire, find PD good but was left bored by Chicago Justice. Someone else said it...the DA was making up legal precedent to support his social agenda which was just really bogus. Yes it was socially justified in some cases but it was definitely not legal according to written law which was admitted to in the shows. That's not the way the law works; at least I hope not because that means someone can make up laws as they go along. Heaven help us if that really happens.

I watched at first because of Richard Brooks coming on. He should have been a cast member and not just a soecial guest it definately would have kept me more interested that way. I couldn't get into this show and I really tried to.

All it was, was law and order in Chicago, with poor characters

Why does every poster use the same tired comment "give a show a chance to gather an audience!" They DID. It failed. That's how television works.

Not surprising really! This one was just one to many with not enough action. I typically like courtroom/law shows but not this one.
