Netflix axes its second original in as many weeks.
June 1, 2017
Netflix announced today that Sense8 has been cancelled after its second season. The move comes just one week after the streaming service axed Baz Luhrman's The Get Down after its freshman run, seeing both shows join a relatively short list of cancelled Netflix originals.
Created by The Wachowskis, Sense8 was a sci-fi drama that followed eight people from different cities around the world who became linked mentally and emotionally by an advanced evolutionary technology. Known as Sensates, they were recruited and brought together by a mysterious man named Jonas, but were also pursued by adversarial agents.

Bub that is a very odd post. LGBT aren't exercising a "right". Not unless people of various races (asian, black, white) are also exercising a right to be the race their genetics requires them to be.
Yes, you do however have the "right" to be disgusted by any show that might make its way to one of your screens. That's why you have the option to not watch them.
There, your problem is solved.

@Gary: The show wasn't a "crap" show. Maybe you classify gay sex as "porn" because you have some unresolved issues within your own psyche that you're not yet ready to face.

we are NOT all the same. That's just propaganda. It's absolutely fine to be LGBT. As is everyone's right. But it's also absolutely fine to be disgusted by LGBT programming. That is also everyone's right. This notion that being upset, bothered, or "turned off" by LGBT content makes some people "less that" is bigoted and closed minded. Funny .... coming from people claiming to be "woke".

This show was good. But its not about been gay trans and they weren't forcing pride or porn in ur faces it was about the relationships and the evolution of a species and deep down no matter where ur from or who u are we are all the same.

I'm so damn tired of getting into a show and then it is cancelled. I don't care about the LGBT scenes; I loved the one when they were all together, I thought is was very intense and erotic. People get over it, it is 2017 and I don't feel like it was forced. This entire storyline was good, to be connected, mentally, emotionally and then physically WOW!!!. Why leave us hanging with Season 2, at least have a concluding episode. This was a really good show, I watched season 2 in two days and I was waiting for the release. This was an awesome show. DAMN DAMN

@Just Keith: Maybe you should google The Wachowskis, they're both out of the closet and they're also transgenders. I've seen the first 5 episodes of season 1, but the explicit gay scenes (not that I have anything against them) are way too much 4 me.

@Just Keith -- I can't tell if you're joking or not...You do know that both Wachowskies have undergone M 2 F gender reassignment surgery, right?

About time. I watched the first season and thought it had promise, but the only ones having sex were the over-the-top gay ones. They could have had an awesome show just by leaving all of that out of it. The Wachowskis should probably come out of the closet.

Take a step back. Any show that lets its agenda/message bury the story is pretty much doomed. Only "true believers" accept the imbalance. In this case, the agenda was LGBT, but that's irrelevant. It tipped too far and became "propaganda"...and I tuned out. If you're going to educate me, you gotta be more subtle than that.

When I started watching this I was really intrigued. Good art, interesting characters, nice story. But then it never went anywhere. All we got was a bunch of pride "everyone is ok the way they are" stuff mixed with pure porn.
Don't get me wrong, I didn't mind the mix of gay, trans, whatever characters. But they kept forcing it on us. Ok, so they're gay, fine, move on with the story.
I actually gave up halfway through S2, it was just way too much.
