The streaming comedy ends after one season.
June 24, 2017
Word is out tonight that Netflix has cancelled yet another of its original series, this time giving the ax to Girlboss after its first season. The book-based show joins The Get Down and Sense8 as the third cancelled series in as many months by the streaming giant. Girlboss, though, is its first original comedy not to earn a second season pickup.
Based on the best-selling autobiography of the same name by Sophia Amoruso, Girlboss followed her beginnings as a rebellious, broke young woman who starts selling vintage clothes online. As her fashion brand begins began to grow, she ends up becoming a businesswoman in charge of her own life and building a multi-million dollar empire - all by the age of 28.

Was also gonna check it out this summer but forget it now. I feel Netflix is coming out with WAY too much content. It's hemorrhage money for all these shows to be made etc. I watched bloodline season 1&2 and was partly watching season 3 and I said to myself why bother, it's gonna be stupid because it got cancelled too soon for costs in Fl

Brit Robertson can not catch a break..Every tv show that girl has been in gets cancelled..Just always wondered if she's horrid to work with or some kind of diva like Katherine Heigl..

One season is more than enough, especially with how Netflix works, it's not like networks who axe shows after 3 episodes in a crappy timeslot.

If you read Ms Amoruso's comment about the show.. it pretty clearly infers SHE was not happy about how her story was being told. She may have pulled the plug ultimately.

Wow, that was fast. I was meaning to check this show out, but hadn't had the chance to just yet. I hope Netflix doesn't start to become like the networks, where they just starting axing their shows without giving them much time.
