Prime Video is readying a new Blade Runner series that will serve as a follow-up to the "Blade Runner 2049" film. At its Comic-Con panel Friday, the streamer released a teaser trailer for Blade Runner 2099 and announced a premiere date of November 25.
Set 50 years after the 2017 film, the limited series will follow Olwen, a veteran Blade Runner days from dying, who partners with a mysterious new recruit, Cora, to investigate a widening conspiracy that stretches back to Los Angeles' darkest original sins. Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer will star in the lead roles. Ridley Scott, who directed the original 1982 "Blade Runner," is on-board as an executive producer.

Blade Runner, girl boss edition! Can't wait... for the 2020's to be over.

Blade Runner 2049 is an awesome movie. Maybe better than the original. I do not think I will like Blade Runner as a series. Michelle Yeoh is a great actress. Hunter Schaffer is not.
