The superhero drama will return for Season 2.
July 21, 2017
It was announced today at San Diego Comic-Con that Marvel's Iron Fist has been renewed for a second season. The freshman drama, which is the fourth and most-recent Marvel series on Netflix, got off to a bumpy start when it launched back in March, where it was met with mixed reviews from both viewers and critics.
The series follows presumed-dead billionaire Danny Rand, who survived a plane crash only to mysteriously return to New York fifteen years later in order to connect with his past. Only now, his body is a living weapon with a mastery of kung fu and the ability to summon a power known as the Iron Fist. When a long-destined enemy emerges, Rand must choose between reclaiming his family's legacy and his duty to fight the criminal element as the Iron Fist.
Look for Season 2 of Iron Fist in 2018. In the meantime, the character Iron Fist will be teaming up with Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage next month in Marvel's The Defenders.

I have to say all of them were a bit underwhelming (especially Iron Fist and DD #2). Its a bummer because I looked forward to this whole new take from Netflix.
Jessica Jones was the best story and genuinely the most frightening villain.
The one constant throughout all of these shows, and in my opinion, the best actor and character is Rosario Dawson. I don't think she's getting the credit she deserves for tying all these series together and the awesome job she did.

A little clarification: It was Iron Fist that I considered the snooze-fest. The other 3 titles were enjoyable. Love the crossovers.

For the Plopster, the ranking is Jessica Jones > Iron Fist = Daredevil Season 2 > Daredevil Season 1 > Luke Cage. I rank Jessica Jones first because in my opinion she had tbe best villain. Killgrave was awesome and made the show better than it otherwise would have been.

Luke cage was my favorite of the four series for me it was Luke Cage > Daredevil > Iron Fist > Jessica Jones. I really wanted to like Jessica Jones I love her character but the story itself was boring. Luke Cage kept me entertained from start to finish. Daredevil was decent and Iron Fist I liked the story and plot but the actor playing Danny in my opinion was a bad choice they could have did better on that budget.

I also watched all 4, but I actually liked Iron Fist and found Luke Cage to be the boring one out of the bunch. He was better as a supporting character in Jessica Jones. Nothing against the actor who portrays him, it's the character who shouldn't be carrying his own show. I will keep watching all 4 though, as well as the upcoming Punisher series.

After the dreadfully low-impact Daredevil season 2... and the slow paced, non-action, season of Jessica Jones, I haven't been too quick to catch up on Luke Cage or Iron Fist. DD and JJ were NOT great seasons... so if Marvel is putting those out..... I don't have high hopes. But I guess I need to get around to at least trying LC and IF.

I've watched all 4 of the Marvel based JV super-hero shows on Netflix (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist) and I can safely say it was a snooze-fest. If it wasn't for Jessica Henwick, I would have stopped. But I am looking forward to The Defenders.
