No Season 3 for the Marvel drama.
October 12, 2018
It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled Marvel's Iron Fist after two seasons. The sad news comes a month following the release of the drama's sophomore run. The show aired a total of 23 episodes.
Iron Fist was the fourth Marvel series on the streaming service and is the first of the five currently airing to get the axe. The news is not completely surprising, as critics and viewers had mixed reactions to it from the start. Issues from a rocky first season appeared to be at least partially-addressed in Season 2, but alas the consensus only mildly improved.
The series follows presumed-dead billionaire Danny Rand, who survived a plane crash only to mysteriously return to New York fifteen years later in order to connect with his past. Only now, his body is a living weapon with a mastery of kung fu and the ability to summon a power known as the Iron Fist. When a long-destined enemy emerges, Rand must choose between reclaiming his family's legacy and his duty to fight the criminal element as the Iron Fist.

Netflix should just go away, they have flooded their options with their "Originals" which are not very good. I personally have moved on to Amazon Prime, they have a lot of the tv shows that netflix removed.

Excellent decision by far one of the worst marvel super hero show on TV. They really DROP the ball with this one.

I was completely disappointed by this series. Season 1 blew and season 2, even with great hopes and being given a second chance, was lousy! Yes, they upped the fighting scenes but the who writing and scripts stank! Huge Marvel fan here but so glad Netflix pulled the plug on this show.

Probably the most disappointing Marvel news for me this year. I thought the show was finally getting Danny Rand right by the end of Season 2 and felt with both of his hands having the Fist now and if he would become the all-wise, Buddhist slogan quoting guy from the comics, it would have been awesome. I am surprised the constant depressed JJ and the always drinking alcohol to soothe the nerves has kept that show going instead of it being cancelled. That is my least favorite part of all the Netflix marvel shows.

Very surprising to me. The show improved a lot in its second season, I think it was much better than Luke cage and JJ 2, and the end was very promising, I really liked and wanted to see more of a care free Danny, instead of the depressed one which seemed happening with Coleene lifting this responsibility from his shoulders. I think 3rd season would've been even better and lots of fun. In the plus side we'll probably still see some characters in other shows.

Well DUH!!!! It was horrible. The lead actor they picked sucked. He looked like, at any moment, he was going to cry.
P.S........it was actually me. Now that I have the "Glove," I adjusted it so that when I snap, it destroys/cancels shows I choose. The Iron Fist was one of them. You're welcome puny humans.

Iron Fist is my least favorite Netflix Marvel show so I can't say I'm real sad about it. The second season was slightly better than the first but honestly, that isn't saying much. I had no plans to watch a third season. I do hope he makes appearances on Luke Cage or possibly Daredevil though as I don't want the character to disappear completely. I see some people also mention Jessica Jones but that's another show that I wouldn't mind if they cancelled. Honestly, as long as they keep Luke Cage and Punisher, I'm ok.

The trouble with Iron Fist is, the Fist, he seems only to use it after 10 mins of fighting and when he is losing, why not use straightaway and get the villan out of the picture? With LC, JJ and Daredevil they use their power from the get-go. Even Punisher doesn't mess about.
There is talk that Iron Fist will pop up in Luke Cage's series as they are a team so makes sense to use him there.
