No Season 2 for the adventure drama.
August 3, 2017
The CW has announced that no additional seasons will be ordered for freshman drama Hooten & the Lady. The British import premiered last month for a summer run on the network but has failed to draw significant viewership through its first four episodes.
It was also confirmed that the show's original network in the UK, Sky 1, has also neglected to order a second season, leaving the series cancelled outright.
Hooten & the Lady is an adventure series in the same vein as Indian Jones, following American adventurer Ulysses Hooten and his British treasure-hunting partner as they team up to travel the world looking for its greatest mysteries - both legendary and mythical.

Such a shame to see a good show cancelled. The show was great lighthearted fun, with delightful banter between the leads. The show always made me smile/chuckle/laugh. It was stupid of CW to cancel...same mistake FOX made when they cancelled Firefly. Don't the powers-that-be (read that as morons) realize that even Star Trek took two seasons to generate fan interest. It's a wonder that CW doesn't know good show when they have one...they don't seem to know that it actually takes a little time for people to find the show and become fans. As Trump would say: "So sad."

It was a clean fun family show. Nothing network would appreciate or understand. Everything geared to the millennials brain dead need to have reality TV. Sad you execs forget there are others out there

there was no pub on it. show creators be warned. this network was sneaky like that; might have to do your own pub. this network and its sister networks like to hiatus shows and let them fester in oblivion .dont know why but may be contractual?????

I realized as soon as I saw it randomly stuck into the summer schedule, unheralded that it was never last, but DRAT! I couldn't help but enjoy it. Great clean adventure in the "Romancing the Stone" "Relic Hunter" vein.

I was flipping through the channels one night and caught a glimpse of it.My kind of show but I don't think the CW advertised this at all.I never even heard of it until that night.

Not surprised this got dumped, IT WAS GOOD, FUN TV and not made up reality (that's a joke) junk. It's a real shame the networks can't get their heads out of the backside and leave GOOD SHOWS on the air.
Just getting so disgusted with TV, Netflix and Amazon shows are just so much better.

So incredibly bummed! This was a fun clean show that I could watch and laugh at, and my mother-in-law and I both had mentioned that it was our favorite summer show this season.

That's a shame, but I can't say I'm surprised, we'd already be watching season 2 if there were plans for it.

Disappointed that this didn't get renewed. It was a lot of fun. Not a brilliant tv series but it definitely was fun.
