The weekly talk show will not return for a third season.

It was announced today that Chelsea Handler's self-titled Netflix talk show will not continue after its current second season. Handler broke the news on her Facebook account, posting that she is ending the show in order to devote her time to becoming a more engaged citizen with a focus on projects that will hold significance to her.
Chelsea marked the streaming giant's first attempt at a regular comedic talk show. The show premiered in 2016 with half-hour episodes that were released three times per week over the course of the year. For Season 2, the series shifted to full-hour installments on a weekly basis. New episodes are slated to continue being released at the same pace through the end of this year.
As for future projects, Handler will be continuing her partnership with Netflix with an upcoming documentary that will focus on people of different ethnicities, religions, and political views.

Thank God! The show was ok, but when Trump won she just could not continue without her bitter hatred. Thank you Netflix!

I liked the show but when she switched to once a week, I got bored. I would often forget it was on, or she would skip a week and then I'd REALLY forget.
I still like her but I'm good with this decision.

Glad it was cancelled... I too believe it was because of low ratings. Nobody needs to listen to her go on and on about how much she hates the Trump administration. She was a Hillary supporter and one of the many "snowflakes" that just could not or Would Not accept that that vile woman did not win... Thank Goodness!!! Her show was nothing but one rant after another talking about how uinfair it was that Hillary didn't win.... Well too dang bad.. PUT ON YOUR BIG GIRL PANTIES AND TAKE OFF THOSE "V-HATS" AND GO HOME!!!

Well, how many times a night can people listen to the same recycled political joke... especially when it wasn’t that funny to begin with and based off lie after lie by democrats.
