The network is shuffling its Monday lineup after a slow start.
November 1, 2017
Scheduling changes are afoot at CBS today, and the resulting casualty is Me, Myself & I. Effective immediately, the network is shuffling its low-rated Monday night comedy block after just one week without powerhouse The Big Bang Theory, which is now airing on Thursdays.
While the network's entire Monday lineup drew lackluster ratings this week, Me, Myself & I is the only show being removed from the schedule. The move comes after the freshman comedy's sixth episode, leaving seven of its 13 total episodes left unaired for now, with question marks around when they will see the light of day.
Me, Myself & I premiered in early September to fairly decent reviews but never seemed to generate much buzz among viewers. Starring Saturday Night Live alum Bobby Moynihan, the half-hour series follows a man through three pivotal periods in his life - as a 14-year-old in 1991, as a present-day middle-aged man at 40, and in his elder years in 2042.
The departure of Me, Myself & I makes room for the return of Matt LeBlanc comedy Man With A Plan, which will premiere its second season on November 13 at 8:30pm after Kevin Can Wait (a Big Bang Theory rerun is slotted in next week). Superior Donuts will stay on at 9:00pm, with newbie 9JKL hoping to fare better in the 9:30pm time slot.
As for Me, Myself & I's future, things aren't looking good. It's possible CBS will find a future time slot to air its remaining episodes, but don't expect it to return for Season 2.

Wow, this is disappointing. I loved this show. It was sweet, fun, and had unique concept of seeing a character at different stages in their life. Though I like the cast of 9JKL, that show really should have been removed instead.

Really enjoyed the show...I did like the idea of the different times in his life. Should have given it more time for it to catch on. Too many new shows this fall so hard to see all of them at once. It seems like if the show doesn't hit it out of the park within the first 2 shows it's canceled. Remember Cheers was not doing that well their first season...

I didn't watch out of principle. I wont watch anything that stars anyone from SNL in the last 5 years. There are a lot pof people that feel the same way.

Not a great show but better than any other new sitcom. Did not care for the time shifts.

In CBS's defense, almost all their programming is trash. Same can be said with ABC, NBC and FOX. Pretty much all network television is a dumpster fire.

This was my favorite new show of the Fall but I feared the worst when their ratings were not where they needed to be. I really hope they bring it back, it was a fantastic show.

Well this sucks, I really liked it. It was cute and the actors were good. It seems every time I like a new show, it gets cancelled. I can't believe that crappy 9jkl show is still on.

Nuts! A new show where the actors showed some depth. Should have given this one a chance. The time changes in the plot are novel. Acting you'd want to see more of the next week. TOO SAD. God, I sound like Trump, sorry.

This sucks! I enjoyed this show a lot. Bobby was so good in this too and John Larroquette is always wonderful. I'll miss this show.
