It is being reported that Nickelodeon has cancelled Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. The move comes ahead of the kids comedy's already-produced fourth season, though it was not completely unexpected.

Back in August, the show lost one of its key cast members when Mace Coronel, who plays Dicky, left the series under a reported, but suspect, mutual agreement. Given that one of the main quadruplets would be missing going forward, questions arose as to whether the network would try to work around the departure or cut its losses. With the show already running longer that most others on Nickelodeon, they opted for the latter.

The live-action series follows the titled four siblings who all share the same birthday but have practically nothing else in common. But even though they can't agree on much, they all have each others' backs during the daily struggles of growing up.

With filming on Season 4 already wrapped, fans will still get one complete final season. Look for a premiere in early 2018.
