No Season 3 for the Nick Nolte comedy.
December 21, 2017
It is being reported that Epix has decided to cancel Graves after two seasons. The political comedy ended its sophomore run early this month, with the December 10 finale now serving as its series ender.
Graves starred veteran actor Nick Nolte as a former U.S. president who, 25 years after his two terms in office, sets out to right the wrongs of his administration and reclaim his legacy. The show aired a total of 20 episodes over the course of its run, receiving mixed reviews from critics.
The series premiered in 2016 as the cable network's first foray into original scripted comedy. With the series now over, that leaves Berlin Station and Get Shorty as its two remaining original programs. Both have already been renewed for new seasons in 2018.

Nice show. Pretty sophisticated, more than just tv. A lesson in history and civics. ....not to mention morality and the shallowness of politics. If you're a fan of soaps and/or sitcoms it may not be for you. The characters and their performances are outstanding. Nick Nolte is exceptional. I didn't realise how good he can be. thanks.

I enjoyed the show, but not surprised it was cancelled. The show never seemed to be able to decide whether it was a comedy or a drama. The main plot about a former President who is trying to come to grips with his legacy was great. Some of the sub plots about an aspiring singer and the President's family were not as interesting and only served as a distraction.

Season 1 was a comedy.. season 2 was a shitty soap opera that sucked. There wasn't a shred of comedy in season 2. The show took an absolutely abysmal turn after season 1. Clearly the writers were lost or just didn't give a shit anymore.
