The dramedy will not return for a second season.

It is being reported that Amazon has cut back on its comedy lineup today, with one of the casualties being new series Jean-Claude Van Johnson. The move comes just one month after the show's six-episode freshman run.
In the half-hour action dramedy, Jean-Claude Van Damme plays a fictionalized version of himself. But aside from being just a global martial arts and film sensation, he also operates as the world's most-dangerous undercover agent. Now retired but discontent with his new lifestyle, a chance encounter lures him back into action.
While the show was met with mixed reviews, its short run came and went without much fanfare. A strategy is apparently one of the driving forces behind the cancellation, as Amazon is said be moving to focus on larger-scale dramas that appeal to a wider range of audiences going forward.

I'm actually sad to see this. It was the perfect B rate comedy scifi action drama. I really enjoyed every episode.

This first episode was pretty good and then it was all down hill from there. It physically hurt me to watch this.

It was funny at first.. but then they kind of lost the comedy thread.... Great pilot.. kind of lackluster follow up.

For this show I took a subscription on Amazon. I loved the show. Big fan of Jean Claude. Canceling my subscription again for amazonprime.

Clearly not in Jean Claude's Wheelhouse. This was painful to watch, I am not sure I even watched the entire first episode. This was almost as bad as watching Ray Liotta play a gay cop in Shades of Blue.

Maybe if Amazon didn't put out the pilot like a full year before the rest of the series, it could have found and kept an audience.

Kind of disappointed in Amazon for this one. This was more entertaining than I expected it to be. And being a huge fan of Jean-Claude this stings even more. :(
