Syfy announced today that The Magicians will be returning for a fourth season. The good news comes midway through the fantasy's drama's Season 3 run, which has so far been continuing its solid performance for the cable network.
Adapted from the Lev Grossman novel trilogy of the same name, The Magicians follows a graduate student who enrolls at a magical college only to discover that the fantasy world from popular children's books is actually based in truth and poses a danger to his world.
Keeping with the status quo, Syfy has ordered another 13 episodes of The Magicians for Season 4, which will likely premiere in early 2019. In the meantime, new Season 3 episodes are currently airing on Wednesday nights.

They are all so dreadful. Its all sooo cheesy. I really can't tell if the writers are making fun of the whole genre on purpose but either way, I can't stop laughing. Season three has been golden. This is possibly the best "worst" show on TV

I'm with Mark. I don't even think I finished watching season 1. I started off really liking the show and then everyone just became giant d-bags (especially Julia) and I couldn't stand it anymore. It's hard to enjoy a show when everyone in it is just so unlikable. I'm honestly surprised it's still on.

By the end of Season 1 I hated every character so I quit watching.

This show is consistently fun and interesting. So this is good news.
