The drama will not return for Season 3.

It is being reported that Freeform has cancelled Beyond after two seasons. The Tim Kring drama aired its sophomore finale just last week, capping a season that marked a notable decline in viewership.
Premiering early last year, the show started out strong and earned itself an early renewal after just one week on the air. It performed well digitally too, giving the cable network its best week across its online platforms with the release of the entire first season at once. Season 2 was a different story however, with ratings dipping significantly during most of its run.
Beyond follows a young man who awakens from a 12-year coma to find that he possesses new supernatural abilities that propel him into the middle of a dangerous conspiracy.

They cancel a show like Beyond and Heroes and they keep running a show like Siren. Really??? Siren completely sucks and I really liked Beyond. My bad , truthfully, I never heard of the show until after it was cancelled. Most likely because Freeform runs a lot of really bad shows and usually tune away from the station. I started watching Cloak and Dagger, another one they really should cancel. yet they cancel all the good shows 02/13/19

Once again, Freeform cancels a show without a proper ending. Don't even bother watching their content. Why do they bother making shows anyways? They don't let them even have a chance to find an audience before they yank them off the air without a satisfying conclusion.

This is why I only casually watch shows on Freeform, if at all. Freeform (ABCfamily) has a terrible track record with how they end/cancel shows. It's generally not worth it to become very involved with their content.

Only the uninformed blame a network for a cliffhanger when the show was not guaranteed another season. Only the spiteful create a cliffhanger when the network has not given them another season.

They could have at the least gave an ending to it instead of a cliffhanger. THANKS FREEFORM for nothing.

I agree.. Kring is the problem. Has a great first season when he has all the time in teh world to write it.. then fails miserably when he's under pressure for more. He's risen to his level of incompetence :) Although I do think Heroes was good until season 3 episode 1, that's where is started the horrible downhill slide... and to bring back a revival and NEVER answer questions from the first run?? Well that was bad... real bad.

Welp, it was a Tim Kring affair. No one should be surprised this happened. Heroes Season 1 was GREAT, but Season 2 onwards was a different story. It was the novelty factor of Heroes at the time it was released and the strong performances of the leads that kept it in air for 3 more seasons. Look what happened when he brought Heroes to this day and age with the revival series...DoA.
Great first season, crap afterwards - The Tim Kring Mantra.

FREEFORM please figure out what you are doing. moving it to Thursday from the original night probably didn't help. why do networks not understand this., if it's a hit on one night, then leave it there. Cancel Stitchers, cancel this cancel that. Ugh. well, frees up another night for another channel.

Season 2 was not as good as season 3. I really did not like Willa. Nothing left for me to watch on FreeForm.
