The comedy will return for Season 11.
March 30, 2018
ABC announced today that its revival of Roseanne has been renewed for another season, which will be the show's 11th overall. The news comes as no surprise after the comedy's well-received return to television earlier this week.
In its first two episodes back, which aired in a one-hour block on Tuesday night, Roseanne surpassed all expectations by drawing a massive audience of 18 million viewers with an impressive 5.2 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic. Those numbers are almost unheard of nowadays, especially for broadcast comedies.
Being that the show was one of the network's most popular sitcoms of the 1990s, it makes sense that its return with the entire original main cast would draw a lot of interest. While it is yet to be seen how much momentum from its premiere it can retain, the revival's strong start was enough to earn it at least another season.

Yea, I gotta agree with Debbie on this one. I've got a quite diverse group of friends politically and they did in fact rip Will and Grace apart because of politics but are totally praising this one for virtually the same reason. Well, at least those who didn't balk at the idea of the gender fluid character anyway.
Anyway, I'm hoping the political element doesn't become the basis of the show. Politics is everywhere but I'd like to watch sitcoms to escape all that.

I agree with Debbie. Watch a how for the comedy. Keep politruics in the newspapers not on TV shows. There is enough garbage on the news so don't need to hear it watching TV shows. If the actors have a political vioew they want to share do it somewhere else.

.. Just never liked the witch-cackling, undeservingly arrogant, celebrity that is Roseanne Barr. Congrats to those that like her show and find it funny. I can't watch merely because its' star comes across as a pretty horrible woman. The rest of the cast is great.. but she's an immediate "channel-switcher" in my house.

This just isn't funny. The acting is so bad. The writing is horrible. I don't care about the politics at all. It's simply not a good show in any measurable way.

@Debbie -- "Snowflakes" are whiny, crybaby, trauma puppy hugging Liberals. Conservatives are proud Deplorable's clinging to our guns and bibles. Get your Derogatory terms straight please.
Roseanne is doing so well because Hollywood has been feeding so much garbage to us on TV for decades that they finally have a show that hits them back for their ignorance of who lives between Castro Valley San Francisco and New York.

I really like the show so far. I was worried it was going to focus too much on politics and liberals vs conservative jokes every 5 min, but there seems to be an ok balance. There is enough real political drama without having to watch it in a comedy. I tend to avoid television with too much political lean.

I don’t remember the last time my husband laughed so much at every chance he could. The show was funny. This particular show is probably more real to real families than most people think. Everyone has its own issues
