The new comedy ends after a short run.

It appears as if Alex, Inc. has been cancelled by ABC after just one season. Star Zach Braff posted the sad news on his Twitter account this afternoon, expressing his gratitude towards the show's crew and fans.
The half-hour series premiered as a mid-season entry in late-March, airing between The Goldbergs and Modern Family as part of the network's Wednesday night comedy block. The show struggled to find an audience, however, garnering ratings lower than its lineup-mates on the night.
Alex, Inc. followed family man and journalist Alex Schuman, who quits his job to start his own company. It isn't long, though, before he learns that it will be much harder than he originally thought.
The series finale of Alex, Inc. will air on Wednesday, May 16.

Horrible goofy Post Scrubs era sitcom with no discernable personality of it's own. A Zack Braff vehicle. Didn't he fall off the face of the Earth once Scrubs got cancelled? He should've kept making movies.

I like Zack he's good peoples, but the show was bad. The kid was way over the top.

Unrealistic married couple with no chemistry. The office antics were more believable and witty, but the homelife areas were pathetic. Would have needed a massive overhaul. Good to end.

Fantastic, hopefully they pick something decent to replace this garbage.

This was a decent show, too bad it’s gone. Way better than AP Bio that another network renewed

Horrible show.. clearly trying to regain the "Scrubs" vibe that got Braff famous. Maybe he should crowdsource an original idea rather the his (pretty bad) movies.
