No Season 2 for the sci-fi drama.
May 11, 2018
It is being reported that ABC has cancelled The Crossing after just one season. The mid-season entry premiered early last month, drawing decent ratings for the network in its Monday night time slot.
Set in the small fishing town of Port Canaan, Oregon, The Crossing follows what happens when 47 refugees from a war-torn country wash up on the beach seeking asylum. In a sci-fi twist, it turns out they are actually from America and the war they're running from is 180 years in the future.
New episodes of the show will continue to air as-planned, though a series finale date has yet to be announced.

Very disappointed to hear this one is cancelled. I do agree that it dragged some after the first episode, but overall this one seemed as if it had staying power. Like this one sooooo much more than LOST.

What a strange show. The pilot was absolutely amazing... and then it just drug on and on and on. This had SO much potential... but the writers just couldn't develop ANYTHING after the first two episodes.

Hey ABC since you like to cancel shows so much, cancel The Bachelor.

Same here, but my count reached 13. 13 shows ripped from me. Who gives me all that time I invested in these shows? WHO?

ABC = already been cancelled. and they wonder why people are turning away from network shows and going to streaming. what a wasteland. Have had almost 7 shows this week yanked from me.

With all the recent cancelations one wonders what other shows take their place that will be axed next year.

It wasn’t particularly original but (its good ratings aside) it shouldn’t have been cancelled. Why do idiots make something that could be good enough, which gets ratings, and then cancel it with new episodes about to air? You tell me.
