No Season 2 for the sci-fi drama.
May 11, 2018
It is being reported that ABC has cancelled The Crossing after just one season. The mid-season entry premiered early last month, drawing decent ratings for the network in its Monday night time slot.
Set in the small fishing town of Port Canaan, Oregon, The Crossing follows what happens when 47 refugees from a war-torn country wash up on the beach seeking asylum. In a sci-fi twist, it turns out they are actually from America and the war they're running from is 180 years in the future.
New episodes of the show will continue to air as-planned, though a series finale date has yet to be announced.

By Winner I mean The Crossing, just to be clear. Also do you take in consideration that the viewer may be more then the ones who sit in front of the TV. I hope you are smart enough to include the viewings on tablets, PCs and phones, etc.

One of the best shows in a long time. Can't wait to watch the finale. Why you changed date, is beyond me. And on top of it, you Cancel the show? Really. While stupid shows like the Bachelor and Now this new one where people get engaged/married in an hour, REALLY? who watches this crap. Finally a show that has some weight and isn't a reality show. You will be Sorry ABC. Another station is going to snatch this HIT and you will be the ones hoping you had kept it on your station. Now that you cancelled Roseanne, maybe you can keep the Winner on the air.

There should be a class action suit for getting us hooked on a show and cancelling it. I need closure people...

In my opinion, this has become the most endearing show of all the new ones aired this season. I can't for the life of me, understand why the network gave up on it. I can think of dozens of others that deserve cancelling and yet are allowed to drag on and on and on!

@Lucy (or anyone else who sees this and has info)
I thought Comcast owned the biggest chunk of Hulu. Are Comcast and ABC linked financially?

There are so many millions of families boycotting ABC after they cancelled the generational daytime soaps, that primetime on ABC doesn't get the viewers it should. And the morons @ ABC still believe neilsons are accurate and trustworthy. RIP ABC, we're boycotting HULU and ESPN and Disney too.
Just sayin.

Show suffered from not enough background, poor character development (role of APEX). Not enough to hold the viewers's interest.

What’s the point of even watching shows now a days when they keep getting canceled after you get into them.
I liked this one. It reminded me of under the dome which lasted 3 season!!!!
