Netflix announced today that Queer Eye will be returning for a third season. The reality series, which is an updated version of the 2003 original, has been enjoying a successful resurgence since its return to television earlier this year.

Queer Eye, or Queer Eye for the Straight Guy as it was originally known, ran for four seasons on Bravo before it was cancelled in 2007. 10 years later, Netflix confirmed it was creating a revived edition of the lifestyle-focused series featuring a new 'Fab Five' with expertise in fashion, culture, grooming, design, and food and wine.

The new version of the show premiered in February and is off to a strong start, with two critically-acclaimed seasons already under its belt. Just yesterday, it picked up four nominations for the 2018 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, including one for Outstanding Structured Reality Program.

Netflix has ordered another eight episodes for Season 3 of Queer Eye, matching its Season 1 and 2 orders. Look for a premiere in 2019.
