The drama will be back for Season 2.

Starz announced today that Sweetbitter has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes a month after the book-based drama concluded its six-episode freshman run.
Based on Stephanie Danier's best-selling 2016 novel of the same name, the series follows Tess, a 22-year-old woman who recently moved to New York. When she starts working at one of the city's top restaurants, it's not long before she becomes intoxicated by the establishment's staff, nightlife, and fast-paced lifestyle.
Look for Season 2 of Sweetbitter in 2019.

I am still on the fence as to whether I like this show or not. It was interesting, but a little over the top on certain things. I will say I liked Sweetbitter a lot more than that awful show VIDA which airs after it.

A series which is about as interesting as the glass of water every restaurant ensures is on the table.
