The sci-fi drama will not be back for Season 4.
July 21, 2018
It appears as if Colony has been cancelled after three seasons. The sad news comes just days before the sci-fi drama's season finale - which will now serve as its series ender.
The writing appeared to be on the wall when fans noticed a lack of representation at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, where the show has been known to have a regular presence. A tweet by Wes Tooke, who wrote numerous episodes each season, expressed sadness that they won't be able to finish their story.
The series had a solid run on USA Network, at one time ranking as cable television's most-watched scripted series on Thursday nights. Viewership has tapered off, however, with Season 3 hitting series lows that were obviously not up to the network's expectations.
Set in the near future where Los Angeles becomes occupied by outside invaders, Colony follows a former FBI agent and his wife as they risk everything to protect their family and bring liberty back to the people of earth.

Please, Netflix, rescue and complete this epic and powerful series! You will have my loyalty forever if you do. Since it released, Colony has become one of my all time favorite sci fi shows. I despise (and shame) networks that release 3 seasons of a story, create a rabid and loyal fanbase and then cancel that show without wrapping it up in a satisfying way. You will become OBSOLETE if you continue to do this to fans and patrons. LIFETIME NETWORK. I am DONE WITH YOU.

If Colony doesn't come back, I will just stay with Amazon and Netflix. I am done with the networks.

I am almost to the point now where I don't even want to watch any new shows and simply wait to see if they last. If they don't - screw it. If they do finish, torrent them (because trying to access them after the fact is a supreme hassle).
The networks deserve every bit of misery they get - there's just no point in getting 'into' any sort of show that doesn't resolve its story line at the end of its 47 minutes. Thankfully Netflix, Amazon, HBO and SHO seem to have a clue.

Loved this show...absolutely no reason to cancel....I'm sick of reality tv....no brain needed to watch reality TV. Netflix I hope saves this and other worthy shows.

WHAT A JOKE!!!!
You can at least give it an ending instead of letting fans hanging!!!
This happens time & time again with majority of TV shows. Its not a game of football were you can get rid of the coach because he's not performing. So what that the audience numbers drop off for one or two weeks, It will pick up again.
