The reality race series will return for Season 2.
August 15, 2018
Netflix has announced that Fastest Car will be returning for a second season. The reality series, which premiered this spring, is the streaming giant's first original series based on car culture and competition.
Episodes in this series feature the drivers of ultra fast supercars going head-to-head against unassuming sleeper cars that have been modified and tuned by gear heads in a quarter-mile drag race. The winner of each race returns for the final championship, where they all have one final showdown to determine the ultimate winner.
Netflix has ordered seven episodes for Season 2 of Fastest Car, matching its first-season order. Look for a return in 2019.

A colossal waste of time and a danger to society, promoting juvenile and irresponsible driving. Should be banned as should such asinine cars.

@Bonkers
You are absolutely right.
I love car shows and was excited when I found this one, little info on how the car was built, little info on the driver and then an “epic” race to tie the show together.
At the end of the first ep my only thought was “that was a waste”
I cherry picked a few eps based on the main car presented,
other than that this show is a major disappointed and am SURPRISED that it was renewed.

Why? As a documentary its very well done, but the end race is one of the most anti-climatic waste of times ive ever viewed on television. 45 minutes of buildup on a 10 second ending is not my idea of time well spent... I choked down 4 episodes before giving up.... a rare mis-step for the Netflix guys.
