No Season 2 for the cable dramedy.

AMC confirmed today that Dietland has been cancelled after one season. The sad news, which comes two months after the dark dramedy concluded its freshman run, does not come a surprise as the show struggled to find an audience.
The summer series marked Juliana Margulies' return to television after seven years on The Good Wife. But unlike The Good Wife, Dietland's time on the air was short-lived. The series premiered to little fanfare back in June and its already-low ratings tapered off over the course of its 10-episode run.
Based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Sarai Walker, Dietland followed a ghost writer for one of New York's top beauty magazines who struggles with body-image issues. Unhappy with herself, she gets involved with a radical group while on her way to a diet program, while at the same time, high-profile men who have been accused of sexual assault are dying under suspicious circumstances all across the city.

How many men that Jennifer targeted have ever felt
That way. I have numerous times and I have an advanced degree. It was an interesting take. If it was too violent for you, don’t watch it. I have live it that world and it was actually not violent.
You're right. Only one comment said specifically that the protagonist was a killer. But rather that list all comments and refute them, I picked one.
And you're right in another point, too. These are all just opinions. What I posted was also just my opinion.
Most of what was said was opinions. Only one person said it was about a killer and your comment was more than that. Lets not call people wrong for having an opinion. As for the show it got canned because it was too pandering.
Funny that all the negative comments here come from people who never watched the show. Most of what's been said wasn't even in the show! The main character never killed anyone - she was not violent.
The show was deep, insightful, and very well written. It deals with a woman's self hate, and the pressures put on all women in society. It was also one of the only shows ever to be that honest.
I am glad it is gone.
It showed that all men should be subservient to women and that it is okay for women to kill men if they think that the justice system let the men get away with a crime.
