The 'Sons of Anarchy' spin-off will be back for Season 2.

FX announced today that Mayans M.C. will be returning for a second season. The good news comes midway through the motorcycle club drama's freshman run, which is off to a solid start since its premiere in early September.
Through its first four episodes, the series has been averaging roughly 2 million overnight viewers, with its premiere episode topping its scripted cable competition in both total viewers and the adults 18-49 demographic.
Taking place in the same universe as Sons of Anarchy, Mayans M.C. follows former golden boy Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes, a prospect in the Mayans M.C. charter on the California/Mexico border. Having just recently been released from prison, he is now looking to establish his new identity in his former stomping grounds.
Look for Season 2 of Mayans M.C. in 2019.

It will never be another SOA but it’s darn good! So glad Mayans has been renewed and can’t wait to see how the rest of Season 1 is gonna play out! Just 3 more episodes:)

english is the national language , im not watching a program where they dint speak my language.
wont be long before every program is in Spanish

EXACTLY what Plop posted... I don't mind subtitled here or there but when 30 minutes of a 42 minute episode is subtitled.. well, you lose my interest quickly. The show is slow to begin with.. throw in the need to read the dialog for a slow show and well.. Sutter can go take a hike. This ain't no SOA. Not even close.

Great show!!!! Love that it's not just another cop show. Someone said it's slow? Lots of action when needed. Not every show needs to be nonstop shooting and explosions to be good. As for the subtitles, I agree with the lazy remark above. Good work FX.

Depends on how much of the show is in subtitles. I don't mind them, if its not too much. I watch Vikings, and one of the things I like most is when they start speaking in their native language with subtitles, even though it is understood that even when they are talking in English, they are actually not. The occasional subtitles adds some authenticity to the show. Not sure if that is the case here or if they are just over doing it. If some Spanish with subtitles, its fine. If the show is basically 'Sons of Anarchy SAP', then I can see why some would be annoyed.

Subtitles do make it hard to do other things like some of us do while were watching tv. Were not all couch potatoes. I am a fan of this show though and was really impressed with pilot. I now watch live when I can and hope show stays on and gets a fair shot. The reason to watch this show is if your tired of the predictable crap on tv and like the raw and gritty which this show definitely is. Really great cast and I wish them all the best!

Anonymous - You remind me of all the lazy Americans out there that hate foreign films because of the subtitles. And yes, that's all it is - being lazy minded.
