The fantasy drama will continue next summer.
October 9, 2018
One week after its freshman finale, The Outpost has been renewed for Season 2. The fantasy adventure drama debuted this summer with little buzz, airing 10 episodes that garnered mixed reviews.
The series follows Talon, a Blackblood whose whole village was destroyed by a gang of mercenaries years ago. Now the only remaining member of her race, she travels to a lawless fortress on the edge of civilization looking for her family's killer. On her way to the outpost, Talon learns that she possesses a supernatural power that she must harness in order to save herself and defend the world against a radical religious dictator.
Look for Season 2 of The Outpost in the summer of 2019.

The Outpost is an absolute GEM of a sci-fi/fantasy/action/adventure show! After a rocky start, this show has really managed to grow by leaps and bounds. The writers are amazing- the characters are all fully formed with fascinating backstories. There are twists and turns, romance, betrayals, edge of your seat plot lines. Those who didn't give this show a chance are really missing out on something unique and special.

They need to do a topless scene and the show would be perfect. I guarantee a lot more viewers like Spartacus if they would just add a few more sexy scenes. It just seems like a waste.

I enjoy it but it lacks background and character development. What is the "big picture" of what is going on? Seems that the neither the actors, writers, nor viewers really know.

Glad to see it renewed.Far from the best show in the world but reminded me of shows I use to watch on Saturday afternoons.I enjoyed it.

Well done show, good acting and writing, fun stories without the direct blood and guts that some shows seem to portray.

I love this show. Yes it’s campy, perfectly campy. The characters do come to life and the lead actress is exceptional. Great call to renew it. It’s 100% fun.

Kind of surprising. I love the idea and it’s good to see fantasy on TV. But it’s not a well written or directed show. The actors are trying but didn’t have a lot to work with. I did manage to watch the entire series with lots of FF-big. Maybe the show can get better in season 2.

Watched 20 minutes of Episode 1. that was far and above more than this show deserved. The writing, acting, directing are all exceptionally sub-par in my opinion. It's like watching a taping of a bunch of LARPers.
