The fantasy drama concludes its run next month.
September 15, 2021
The CW has confirmed that The Outpost is coming to an end after its current fourth season. The news was announced on the fantasy drama's Twitter page, with a post stating that the epic journey is concluding on October 7. With such short notice before the final episode, it's unclear whether this ending was planned well in advance or not.
The Outpost follows Talon, a Blackblood whose village was destroyed by a gang of mercenaries years ago. Now the only remaining member of her race, she travels to a lawless fortress on the edge of civilization looking for her family's killer. On her way to the outpost, Talon learns that she possesses a supernatural power that she must harness in order to save herself and defend the world against a radical religious dictator.

Thanks for the comments about it ending well, was about to commit to this but thought that I'd better check that it wasn't cancelled already!

I loved this show. I hate that it's over, but I am REALLY glad the ending was a good finale.
Reminds me of the hokey fantasy shows form the 80's and 90's, only with better production values and SFX.
It was kinda silly and over the top, but it was more FUN than heavy and really enjoyed that about this show. I'm glad it lasted as long as it did.

I just watched the last show and it was a great end for an awesome show. Just hope it's pickup up by SiFi channel as it deserves to be continued on.

I think it ended well, and it was time. Seems that everyone will live happily ever after.

I got two episodes left and it sure seems to be wrapping up. It's had a good run. The plots were looser earlier on, like the first year or two. It seemed to be made up as it goes to me and I worried it would branch into too dumb, but no, it always remained down-to-earth fun. I think the key is the well-developed likable characters, and it was set like a play. They found a formula for fun and should it have gotten reborn, my worry has more than vanished.

Well they do say "series finale" so I hope it ends. It has run its course and making it longer would happen at the cost of storylines. Other shows go grittier and delve into characters' anguishes, never liked that.
So: hoping to see a worthy ending tomorrow!

Can't believe you would cancel this show. It's the best and closes to a si-fi and most awesome show since 2000÷. Definitely need to get rid of all the reality shows.

I don't understand how people who don't like a show know so much about them. I can see watching a few episodes and not liking it and stop watching it but what I don't get is some of them knowing everything about a show. I think some people just like to complain.
