The summer drama will not return for Season 2.
November 6, 2018
It is being reported that NBC has cancelled Reverie after one season. The drama premiered in May with a 10-episode summer run that drew generally-positive reviews, though it ultimately failed to make a splash in the ratings.
The series starred Sarah Shahi as Mara Kint, a human behavior expert who takes a new role saving people who have lost themselves in a high-tech virtual reality simulation that allows them to live their dreams.

Seems like a cool idea for a show, too bad this is the first I've heard of it...

I forgot to mention in my previous post that this show was an awesome show that showed how imagination can lead to cool things that can make our lives better yet could also challenge us. While watching the show I was able to try to put myself in the shoes of the characters in the virtual world and wonder what it would be like to be there and do the things that they were all doing.

I think NBC stands for now being canceled. They don't normally give good shows a chance and other networks let's shows like Seal Team continue and cancel good shows like The Brave. The networks won't be happy until they have a bunch of stupid shows on like those trivia or game shows that are ridiculous.

I'm surprised it hasn't been canceled sooner and by the "generally-positive reviews", it clearly wasn't the case when the show started; did it actually become good in less than 10 episodes?
