The new comedy failed to secure a back order.
November 8, 2018
Today NBC announced a scheduling shuffle for the new year with tweaks coming to its Thursday night lineup. As a result, new comedy I Feel Bad looks to be the first casualty of the 2018-2019 season, with the network stating that the series will conclude its run in December.
While NBC is officially leaving the show's future up in the air for now, the lack of a back order of episodes cannot be viewed as a good sign. Combine that with the fact that the series has struggled to find an audience - ranking as the lowest-rated comedy on the network - the prospect of a second season appears extremely unlikely.
I Feel Bad follows Emet, who does her best to be the perfect mother, wife, friend, boss, and daughter. But just like the rest of us, she's figuring it all out as she goes. But that's okay because to have it all, you can't possibly do it flawlessly.
Moving forward into the new year, Superstore will be on hiatus for two months, with new series The Titan Games premiering on January 3 in the 8:00pm time slot. A week later on January 10, Brooklyn Nine-Nine will kick off its sixth season at 9:00pm, with The Good Place following at 9:30pm to finish off its last three episodes of the season. Will & Grace will then move to 9:30pm beginning January 31.

I saw one and a half episodes in December. Actually laughed out loud. Never heard of it before. Was not promoted on any level. How the **** do you expect ratings of anything when you dont promote it? This is b*** s***.

Seriously!?!? Why do all the good shows get cancelled and stupid stuff stays on? This was such a good show!

They lost my husband and I when the wife threw the husband's beautiful lasagna on the floor. Done! It was too mean and deceitful to someone she was supposed to love. We switched it off that very minute and never went back.

They REALLY should have given this show a chance to find its audience. My family really enjoyed it, and the family was very funny and realistic (especially the grandmother). To YOU who made the derogatory comment -- sad you had to resort to that instead of just keeping your opinion to yourself! I found the main actress to be funny and very pretty.

I actually enjoyed watching this show with my family. I was nice having a show that was fairly clean, and not politically charged.

Sarayu Blue is a really good supporting actress but she not a lead. The show really was dead right out the gate.

That’s too bad. The first 2 eps were not good but then it got funny, especially the ep with the honor roll sticker!

Honestly, I could have tolerated it overall, but the "geek squad" at her work was just TOO geeky and unrealistic. In addition to the fact that she's the only woman and CLEARLY 10-15 years older than everyone she works with. And yeah... dumb men, melding mother... all been done a billion times. Mixing up the race of the characters doesn't make any of it "new".
