The new drama adds three episodes to its run.
November 8, 2018
The CW is firming up the episode counts of its new dramas today, and All American has received a small top up of three episodes on top of its original 13 to bring its total to 16.
The rookie drama premiered in mid-October and is four episodes into its run. While ratings have been neither outstanding nor abysmal, critical reception has been generally positive. Its most-recent two episodes have also seen an up-tick in the adults 18-49 demographic compared to its first two airings.
Inspired by the life of pro football player Spencer Paysinger, All American follows a model student and rising football player at South Crenshaw High. But even though he lives in Compton, he accepts on offer from Beverly High School to play for their team - leaving him caught between two very different worlds.

I was looking forward to the start of this show. It definitely did not disappoint!!! This is the one time in the week that my husband and I can be assured that our youngest daughter (she is 17 and the last of our 7 children to be at home!) will be right beside us! She loves it, too! This is my favorite show without question!!

Pretty good show, a little slow to take off and taking a while to determine if the main character and coach have a history that has been hidden for years but defiantly will continue to watch
