The CW announced today that All American has been renewed for Season 3. The pickup comes midway through the drama's sophomore run, which returns from hiatus on January 20.

Inspired by the life of pro football player Spencer Paysinger, All American follows a model student and rising football player at South Crenshaw High. But even though he lives in Compton, he accepts on offer from Beverly High School to play for their team - leaving him caught between two very different worlds.

Look for Season 3 of All American this fall.
