No Season 2 for the Sarah Silverman talk show.
January 9, 2019
It looks as if Hulu has cancelled I Love You, America with Sarah Silverman after just one season. The sad news was reported by Silverman herself, who took to Twitter earlier today to express her heartbreak.
Created and hosted by the controversial comedian, the series follows Silverman's quest to try and connect with people who don't necessarily agree with her personal opinions by using humor, honesty, taking a genuine interest in others, and of course never taking herself too seriously.
Well, Hulu cancelled I LOVE YOU AMERICA and we’re all pretty damn heartbroken.

... So in traditional twitter funeral style, I’ll be RTing the love.

And the Commies at Fox News. Once they are gone we can get back to real America.

This pig loves America about as much as Saddam Hussein did.
Another loud mouthed loser cancelled. Good! Still waiting for Samantha Bee to get the boot...

Did you mean "Content down" not "cost down" because they are not going to lower prices, networks are going to realize they are the only thing hulu has and just charge more. Right now they can tell networks to screw off at the negotiating table. Hey if you want to keep cost down and see old network shows go to the public library. ( also a way to see some Emmy Award Winning Hulu content) The rest of us want new stuff not just Free Reruns for a price.

To all those who responded back to me:
1. Just announced: Netflix is raising its U.S. prices by 13% to 18%, its biggest increase since the company launched its streaming service 12 years ago. Its most popular plan will see the largest hike, to $13 per month from $11. Hmmmmm.
2. Yet THIS original "Emmy Award Winning" show has a whopping 1.4 Star rating here on IMSC. Interesting. And it was cancelled.
So, I stand by what I said. I would sooner just have Hulu (and others) repeat Network shows than make their own original content to keep the costs down. I did have Netflix... and I tried their original content. I liked one show - "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt". I watched the Season 4 of Arrested Development.
It wasn't great. That was it. So, again... I would prefer cheaper monthly rates and access to GREAT Network shows than their home-grown shows that I don't like past a few episodes.
Are people suggesting I DON'T seek out the new shows to try? I try and move on! I liked Sarah Silverman's old self-titled show with her sister and the 2 guys across the hall. Hilarious!! This new show wasn't good. I make no apologies. Others agree. But I am not watching just because an award... and seeing that I liked 1 one on two viewing platforms tells me that Original Content is not a profit making enterprise. Maybe I will switch and try some Amazon Original content someday?
Happy viewing!!! :-)

Don't forget all Fox News Anchors too. They are just as bad (if not worse) but just on the other side of the political spectrum.

Heres the thing... the first few episodes, when she didn't know if the show would be picked up -- were decent. Yes highly "leftist" but there was comedy still. I don't disagree with all her viewpoints but then I also think she's a "typical libtard" at times as well. I am NEITHER "right" nor "left" -- I'm a REALIST. But if there's comedy.. sure I can roll my eyes and move on when someone has just an over-the-top unrealistic view of "the other side". After about 4 to 6 episodes.. well.. I think she forgot the comedy and just started preaching - and preaching to her "base" so yeah.. she THINKS it's good because everyone around her is of the same mindset - aka "yes men". There was no dissenting viewpoint and her little "skits" to attempt to show dissenting viewpoints were nothing but opportunities to belittle and make fun of people. The comedy evaporated from this show around episode 6 of the first season.
