NBC announced today that Ellen's Game of Games has been picked up for a third season. The good news comes just three episodes into the prime time game show's sophomore run, which premiered in mid-December before returning in the new year.
The series is continuing to perform well for the network, though ratings in Season 2 are not quite up to the impressive audience numbers it garnered a year ago. Still, it has been winning its time slot in the adults 18-49 demographic so far in 2019, besting scripted series such as NCIS and The Conners.
Hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, Ellen's Game of Games features supersized versions of fan-favorite games taken from her daytime talk show. Contestants are selected from the audience to compete in a variety of challenges ranging from answering time-pressured questions to maneuvering large obstacles - and even taking plunges into the unknown.

I fell like it would be "Ellen's Chardee MacDennis" or maybe "Ellen's Chardee Ellen MacDennis" She always has to have her name in it. I now want to see that show, but only the original 3 rounds. It would be great to see housewives playing that.
