No Season 5 for the prime time game show.
January 18, 2022
It is being reported that Ellen's Game of Games has been cancelled by NBC after four seasons. The news comes eight months after the game show wrapped its now-final 20-episode run, and in the same year that host Ellen DeGeneres will be ending her eponymous talk show after 19 seasons.
Ellen's Game of Games features supersized versions of fan-favorite games taken from her aforementioned daytime talk show. Contestants are selected from the audience to compete in a variety of challenges ranging from answering time-pressured questions to maneuvering large obstacles - and even taking plunges into the unknown.

Good.
She is nothing but a sexist monster.
She allowed female executives to sexually harrass unpaid male interns and when all this came to light she fired male executives and allowed the sexual abusers to stay.

Ellen DeGeneres had the very unfortunate task of being the successor of Oprahs title of "Queen of daytime TV". To an extent, she succeeded, but not in a sustainable way. In essence, she has always been an entertainer before a businessperson.
In order to be Oprah, you have to know how to lead like Oprah, Oprah is a very strict boss, but apparently she lays out those expectations in advance so you know what you are getting into when you work for her.
If I were a betting man, I would think that Drew Barrymore might have a better shot at being the best Oprah successor.

Ellen had one memorable scene in If These Walls Could Talk 2. Beyond that, her career is irrelevant.

I'm sure they'll come up with a different pathetic game show for mouth breathers to watch
