Netflix announced today that a farewell season of Fuller House has been ordered to conclude its run, with Season 5 set to air later this year. The comedy's official Twitter account broke the news this morning with a video promising that they are "saving the best for last."
A revival of beloved 80's sitcom Full House, the streaming series has enjoyed a successful second act, attracting a healthy amount of viewers and picking up some awards along the way - including the 2017 People's Choice Award for Favorite Premium Comedy Series. Its revival in 2016 was one of the first in a wave of recent shows from decades past to make a comeback.
Fuller House follows Tanner daughter D.J., now-grown up and widowed. She lives in her childhood San Francisco house with her three sons, younger sister Stephanie, and her best friend Kimmy Gibbler. Many characters from the original Full House have made appearances on the show, including D.J.'s dad Danny, her uncles Joey and Jesse, and aunt Becky.
Look for the fifth and final season of Fuller House this fall.

Also, it's one of these sitcoms where the laughing track feels forced. I'm guessing they're not shooting in front of a live audience, kinda ruins the whole thing.
