No Season 4 for the comedic horror.
April 26, 2019
It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled Santa Clarita Diet after three seasons. The sad news comes a month following the release of the comedic horror's now-final season, which had garnered some of its best reviews to-date.
The half-hour series stars Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant, each in their first projects on the streaming service, as married realtors Sheila and Joel. Their mundane lives in the suburb of Santa Clarita take an unexpectedly-dark turn when Sheila goes through a dramatic change that leaves her needing human flesh to survive.

The show was funny imo this season. And it had a good ending , but now we will never know how the other character deals with his situation. I watched this all in one weekend. Just like i did "lost in space"

This is a shame. I really liked this show and I can't typically stand Barrymore in anything.

@michael dobey - Prime would have cancelled Daredevil, Disney own Marvel and will not be letting Netflix or any other network/streaming service on which they hold no make use of their property (Marvel / Disney / Fox content). Netflix had no choice.
I'm gutted that The Punisher was cancelled, but it was completely expected. Anyone complaining about Netflix/Amazon etc. for cancelling Disney owned shows need to realise it's not their fault!
As for Santa Clarita Diet - I've not watched the latest season yet, but the show was feeling stale last year, so unless they've come up with something brand new, I'm not surprised to see it over.

First they cancel "Daredevil" and then "The Punisher"....two of my favorite shows that kept me on the edge of my seat. Now this? That's it for my Netflix subscription. I'll save it for a streaming service that actually has good content. Whatever remains I can obtain elsewhere. They're not getting another red cent from me.

Good show canceled because actors asked to be paid._._
Netfix prices are getting higher and higher and they are canceling any shows with well know actors and they are losing fox disney and marvel.
With that being said Netflix must be following Blockbusters steps ._.Right?
