May 16, 2019
USA Network has announced that it will be bringing The Biggest Loser back to television. The veteran weight loss series, which last aired in 2016 on NBC, will be returning for what will be its 18th season in 2020 with a 10-episode run.
The rebooted Biggest Loser will feature a new team of experts whose goal is to drastically improve the health of the contestants. Men and women will compete to better their well-being and lose as much weight as possible, helped by a trainer, a chef and a life coach.

It's a pretty big reach to say Charmed survived a comeback after 12 years. I can only assume you haven't actually watched the new version.
Didn't Murphy Brown prove no means no?

It was a huge hit for many years. Perhaps after 12 years, people had a weight fatigue situation. Will it survive a comeback? Charmed did, but it had a 12 year? Absence between versions , same with roswell which was more like 16 years? This is 3?.

USA is taking a big risk considering the negative press the original series generated in the last few years. Let’s hope they change the format for the better.

This reboot will somehow teach us that's it's not the bad foods the contestants eat rather the hardships they go through that makes them this big.
They will also find a way to talk negatively about President Trump

This show will not be about weight loss at all.
It will be about spiritual well being instead.
When the viewing numbers are terrible they will cry and say they have no idea why it is happening.

I might give it a try again. I really used to like this show until contestants really started gaming the system and losing an unhealthy amount of weight (by apparently unhealthy means) just to win. I really only watched it a bit the last couple of seasons because I like Jen Widerstrom!
