No Season 2 for the spin-off series.
November 7, 2019
Fox confirmed today that BH90210 will not be returning for a second season. The series, which was a spin-off of sorts, ran for six episodes this past summer, with its now-series finale airing on September 11.
Set 20 years after the iconic Beverly Hills, 90210 television series ended, the drama follows fictionalized versions of the original cast members, played by themselves, as they decide to reunite for a reboot of the beloved show. Plenty of drama ensues, as well as plenty of meta moments for fans to enjoy.
Initial audience interest was strong, with the premiere episode drawing enough viewers to easily win the night in the adults 18-49 demographic. Subsequent weeks didn't fare as well however, though the show did end up with a consistent audience to finish out its run.

They brought this back to life.....news to me. Not everything is worth reviving times change. Also the actors sometimes are what make the show so good. Generic replacements just won't do.

At least we can all agree that Fox gave it a chance. It was not the same and people didn't care for it. Don't sell a reboot and give something that is different but similar.
@Aly
Don't start shows on the 3rd season. If you are not willing to take a chance on a show's first season why would a network. YOU are the reason we have so many rehashes (and why they fail). Also "consistent audience" does not mean high rated. It lost 60% of its audience. Fox cancelled an it because EVERY OTHER SHOW WAS BETTER AT RETAINING AN AUDIENCE. It is not dumb to get rid of something that is costing you money but getting the worst results. This was the only non stupid option.

It honestly wasn't too bad. Although I am not shocked about this. Fox cancels most shows anyways so...they're just trying not to fail us. (sarcasm)

If they called it Florida Hills, 32402. Had the girls drunk in shorts every episode and the guys stoned and driving air boats under the influence it would have gotten 12 seasons. People these days only want to watch reality shows that drop their IQ 60 points an episode.

Oddly enjoyed yet 90210 isnt 90210 without Luke Perry.

I did watch all the episodes but I really didn't like the format. I wanted David and Donna, not Brian and Tori. There was way too much of their reel characters and we barely got to see any of their 90210 characters at all! The reunion series was mostly a disappointment.

A bit surprised here. The Plopster enjoyed this show. In a few years maybe they will do an actual reboot instead of a fictional one? Oh and Melrose Place also please!

Now i love the original show and was excited to see this reboot! But it was Trash! Nothing like i expected and i think they would’ve been better off dropping them playing themselves and that whole fake Reality TV show thing they had going on! It just wasn’t it and was a major let down! So Thank You! But No Thank you!
