No Season 2 for the spin-off series.
November 7, 2019
Fox confirmed today that BH90210 will not be returning for a second season. The series, which was a spin-off of sorts, ran for six episodes this past summer, with its now-series finale airing on September 11.
Set 20 years after the iconic Beverly Hills, 90210 television series ended, the drama follows fictionalized versions of the original cast members, played by themselves, as they decide to reunite for a reboot of the beloved show. Plenty of drama ensues, as well as plenty of meta moments for fans to enjoy.
Initial audience interest was strong, with the premiere episode drawing enough viewers to easily win the night in the adults 18-49 demographic. Subsequent weeks didn't fare as well however, though the show did end up with a consistent audience to finish out its run.

Tori Spelling is going to have to find another way to pay off her debt.

@truth - 60% lost over 6 episodes? Well that's a big Tell from the viewers that they didn't care for the show. If alys numbers are right then that is 400000 people a week turning it off. That is a huge loss week to week. Why would people advertise on that? How would fox pay for the show without advertisers. By the end of the next season it would lose more people then it started with.
@aly - bill of rights look it up.

I vaguely remember this show being announced around the same time as Luke Perry's death but I had no idea it ever aired.

@ Truth 60% of almost 4mil viewers would still be higher than some of the trash that is currently left on TV.
As for 'me being the reason we have so many rehashes (and why they fail)'
is total crap, you have no idea how many new shows I have watched and engaged in just to have them cancelled after not giving them proper chances.
I am sorry that, if after so many years of this, that I am fed up with broadcast TV and will just binge like the rest of us who have had enough of other people deciding how many episodes of a show I want to watch, before *I* decide to give up on it. This way, going into it, I will know what i am getting into, instead of early cancellations.
Don't you dare wag that finger at me! You do not have that right.

I honestly loved this show. Watched 90210 as a pre/teen and loved how they played exaggerated versions of themselves. I do miss that Luke wasn’t there, but I thought it was a witty and interesting take on the original, and I actually liked it better. Hopefully another network will pick it up

I'm very sad to see this. I thought the show was a hoot and was quite refreshing. Too bad others didn't feel that way, but to each his own.

Maybe they should try again, with an actual re-boot? So many people were excited to have 90210 back, only to find it was something totally different.Instill loved the show, BUT it was not at all what the audience was expecting. It is really too bad
