The British dramedy will return for Season 2.
November 19, 2019
Showtime announced today that Back to Life has been renewed for a second season. The British dramedy premiered earlier this month for a six-episode run that has been garnering critical praise. While the Season 1 was a UK import, Season 2 will be a co-production between Showtime and BBC Three.
The series follows Miri Matteson, who has recently returned to her seaside hometown after spending 18 years behind bars. Trying to rebuild her life in an unfamiliar world, Miri looks to rekindle old relationships while finding employment and re-adjusting to society. But it's easier said than done, as people have not forgotten about the incident that resulted in her prison sentence.

Very subtle dry humor.. it's great. Initially I thought it was going to be some lame UK melodrama.. but it's really a sleeping dog :) Worth watching for certain.

I thought this was meant to be a limited series. Regardless I’m enjoying it a lot and will tune into season 2.

I liked it. Something very different, for a change.
