Disney Channel announced today that Sydney to the Max has been picked up for a third season. The good news comes three months ahead of the comedy's sophomore premiere, which is slated for March of next year.

The half-hour series follows outgoing middle school girl Sydney Reynolds, who lives with her single dad Max and her progressive grandmother Judy. As Sydney explores new avenues in her preteen life, she encounters unexpected twists, and Max tries to understand what type of guidance and support she needs. At the same time, Judy's sharp memory reminds her that Max's antics as a teenager often parallel Sydney's own.
