Fox appears to have cancelled Flirty Dancing, as the midseason reality dating show is being pulled from its regular schedule after this Wednesday's episode. The move comes as the low-rated series winds down its short six-episode run, with its final episodes now scheduled to air on Saturday, January 25.
Hosted by Jenna Dewan, Flirty Dancing helps singles look for love by combining performance with blind dating. Total strangers are each taught half of a dance routine before they meet for the first time on a blind date, where they dance together without saying a word, hoping to find some romantic chemistry.

I loved the show! I thought it was fresh and romantic and I watched hoping they would pick the date I thought was best. So maybe I’m a little corny. I liked the background to the couples lives and there are obviously a lot of people looking to be in love. I thought the dancing was cute and sometimes sexy. I looked forward to watching tonight and was sad to read it was cancelled. I think Jenna is adorable and did a great job with the show! I will miss it!

I watched two minutes of an episode and I couldnt stop laughing. This show was such a joke. Who put this show on the air?

The name was silly. The premise, too. I might have been intrigued to watch if we watched these pairs meet and learn the dance together over a series of episodes, got to watch the chemistry build. Also, I would’ve called in First Dance or something less tweenish.

Has anyone noticed how they have all sorts of camera angles, but then they pull to another camera and there's no sign of the other cameras? How many takes do you think they do on this "one special" dance? The other night they had a shot that was from an overhead camera, but they were outside so would need a crane... then in the next wide shot, there's no other cameras, no crane. Cute idea, but so contrived and staged.

Big shock...when I saw the commercials I laughed and thought it was a joke. Who comes up with these ideas??
