The online drama will not see a second season.

It is being reported that Facebook has cancelled Limetown after just one season. The sad news comes two months after the drama's freshman finale.
The original series premiered on the social network's video-on-demand service Facebook Watch in October for a 10-episode run that garnered generally favorable reviews.
Based on the mystery podcast of the same name, the show followed a public radio journalist who attempts to solve a mysterious mass disappearance of over 300 people at a neuroscience research community in Tennessee.
Today's news comes amid word that the platform is moving to focus more on unscripted fare moving forward, though to what extent is yet to be seen. The number of viewers the show attracted it not known, but the young service is likely still trying to figure out what works for their audience in terms of content.

Jesus H Christ, this show was boring as F@#$%! Nothing about it stands out at all....except that it was boring as F@#$%! As a matter of fact, after binging the whole thing just last week, I cant remember anything about it right now, lol. And im not senile or dementia ridden either.

I didn't even realize Facebook had it's own shows. Maybe instead of showing me ads for stuff I don't care about maybe they should at least do ads for their own programming.

"free" never matters. You can watch regardless if you know how.

I wanted to watch this show but thought Facebook Watch was just another streaming service I had to pay for. They need to do better at advertising this service. Going to watch this today.
