Hulu announced today that Wu-Tang: An American Saga has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes four months after the drama's premiere, with its 10-episode freshman run being met with a generally-positive reception from both critics and audiences.
Based on the true story of the Wu-Tang Clan, the series takes place in early 1990s New York during the crack cocaine epidemic the plagued the city. Bobby Diggs aka The RZA, had a vision of uniting 12 young black men to focus on rap music instead of crime, which evolved into the rise of an unlikely American success story.

I enjoy any show or movie based on a true story, putting that aside I enjoyed this show regardless true or not. If you're a fan of the Wu-tang clan then you'll appreciate the struggle and hardship of what they went through to get where they're at. Even if you're not a fan, you can appreciate the rags to riches story, told in an urban setting.

I mean what's left. Everyone knows the Wu-Tang story from after the events of the show. Is there really a point. I love Wu-Tang, but there should be a purpose.
