No Season 2 for the musical drama.
January 31, 2020
It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled Soundtrack after just one season. The musical drama released 10 episodes in December for its freshman run, which ended up garnering mixed reviews and generating little buzz.
The series followed a group of disparate struggling artists in Los Angeles who experience love, loss, and transformative luck as their lives intersect. The show featured songs by artists such as Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Amy Winehouse, and Etta James.

I loved this show, and I am sorry to see it go. The main characters were great (although the friend, eh), and I thought there were lots of possibilities for future shows including using completely new characters.
Before you say musicals don't work on TV...what about Glee. Pretty successful.

Jenna Dewan is enough to put anyone off no one likes watching TV while being sick in a bucket looking at her

You would figure by now that they would realize that musical shows just don't work on television. The only reason High School Musical worked is because it was for kids.
