The spin-off series will return for Season 2.
April 13, 2020
Fox announced today that 9-1-1: Lone Star has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes the month after the drama's freshman run, which ran for 10 episodes as a mid-season entry.
The hour-long series premiered in January as a spin-off of the successful first responder drama 9-1-1. It has been generally well-received critically and performed solidly on Monday nights.
9-1-1: Lone Star follows a New York firefighter who leaves his job in the Big Apple and relocates to Austin, TX along with his son. There he focuses on balancing the duties of helping the people who need it with solving the problems in his personal life.
Look for Season 2 of 9-1-1: Lone Star later this year or in early 2021.

One of the biggest train wrecks of 2020 and we are still dealing with the corona virus if that tells you anything!

This show is horrible. RL is great, but not on a good fit for this show. They force every possible minority-like character on the show to the point where I'd be embarrassed to be one. Kids aren't going to want you at the party if your mom makes you invite them. Original one is substantially better.

Great show, not as good as the original but it’s awfully close.
