The Ricky Gervais black comedy will be back in 2021.

Netflix announced today that After Life has been picked up for a third season. The good news comes less than two weeks after the dark comedy's sophomore release, which has continued to garner critical praise.
Created by Ricky Gervais, who also writes and directs every episode, After Life follows a newspaper writer named Tony, played by Gervais, who had everything he wanted in life - until his wife suddenly passed away. Now struggling to come to terms with his new normal, Tony stops caring about anything and tries to adopt a new, rougher persona as a way to get back at the universe.
Look for Season 3 of After Life in 2021.

This show is amazing. Very funny and quite deep emotionally. Ricky Gervais is such a gifted writer/comedian/actor.

Call me crazy, but I love this show. It’s not for everyone, but Gervais is great in this series.
