The legal drama will return for Season 2.

CBS announced today that All Rise has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes just two days after the courtroom drama's freshman finale, which aired as a specially-produced episode that dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic that ended up shortening its season.
The series follows the chaotic, but hopeful, lives of the judges, prosecutors, and public defenders at a Los Angeles courthouse as they work with clerks, bailiffs, and police to ensure justice is served to the city's people amidst a flawed legal process.

I absolutely love this show, this reminds me of a good through back of some older law shows. The cast is fabulous and I recognize a lot of the cast members. I'm so happy...excellent writing and loved how the season ended! Applause

After my initial thought about this renewal, I watched the season finale. I'm really impressed that tptb actually attempted an episode where all the characters are in "stay at home" mode - especially knowing the actors must actually be isolated in their homes. Major props to the writers - And the actors since they have no scene partners. This is the only show I'm aware of that has aired a COVID19 episode.
Based on the timing, I assume this episode was put together before they knew if they would get another season. I'm thrilled that this isn't the end, but I appreciated the fact that while already taking on a difficult challenge with an isolation episode, it is also an episode that could have been a series finale. Very Good Job!

I watch a lot of telly. Other than Marg Helgenberger I’ve never seen these actors before. No thanks.

Yes! Somehow I was unsure about All Rise getting a renewal since so many of the other CBS shows feel lije they get automatic renewals. I'm very glad this newbie gets to keep going. Despite the occasional deep storyline, I find it light and easy to watch.

Hideous liberal trash. Unbelievable. Stopped watching after first two episodes.
