The family comedy will return for Season 2.

Disney+ has announced that Diary of a Future President has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes two months after the family comedy concluded its 10-episode freshman run.
The half-hour show premiered in January as the third original scripted series on the streaming service. In fact it's the first truly original IP so far on the platform, as the others - The Mandalorian and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series - have existing and well-established film-based roots.
Diary of a Future President follows a young Cuban-American girl who is not yet a teenager, but will someday become the President of the United States. For now, though, she is focused on navigating the ups and downs of her first year in middle school in Miami, Florida. Along the way, she documents the steps of her journey in her trusty diary.
Look for Season 2 in 2021.
