The British-Austrian crime drama will return to PBS.

Four international broadcasters have jointly announced that Vienna Blood has been picked up for a second season. The period crime drama aired its freshman run on PBS in the US earlier this year, garnering impressive ratings and generally-positive reviews.
Based on the best-selling novels by Frank Tallis, the 1900s-set series follows Max Liebermann, an extraordinary young English doctor who teams up with Austrian Detective Inspector Oskar Rheinhardt, working together to solve some of Vienna's most mysterious cases.
Look for Season 2 of Vienna Blood in 2021.

About time the studio execs used their brains. This is an excellent show, so I was pretty sure they would cancel it! lol
